New matte box LMB 4x5

ARRI PCA is introducing a new lightweight matte box: The LMB 4x5. Through its modularity, the LMB 4x5 offers various applications in just one matte box – from single-filter gimbal use, a clamp-on version known from the LMB-25, a 15mm lightweight support version to at a full blown-out but lightweight studio rod support solution including a tilting possibility.

The LMB 4x5 will replace the existing Mini Matte Box MMB-1, the Lightweight Matte Box LMB-25 and the Matte Box MB-19. All functions from these three matte box models are now included in just one model adding additional features as well.

There are very attractive upgrade options available for LMB-25 owners. With just some new parts it is possible to step up to the LMB 4x5 platform or directly to the LMB 4x5 Pro Set. A 10% discount on the two upgrade sets from LMB-25 to LMB 4x5 is available for all LMB-25 orders in between the announcement and the first customer shipment of the LMB 4x5.
